New Bluffton psychology clinic opens

The Bluffton Psychology  Group announced Monday the opening of a new psychology clinic in Bluffton.
The new clinic consists of counselors Dr. Susan Stevens Pickett, LP, Tina Boyle, MA, LPC, and Carol S. Tomeo, MA, LPC. The group specializes in children, adolescents, adults, families and couples therapy and addresses a broad spectrum of mental, emotional and  behavioral difficulties. The office is located at 10 Pinckney Colony Road, building 300.

WSAV opens news, sales center

WSAV has opened a news and sales center in the Hampton Lake Real Estate Development main office on S.C. 278.
WSAV is the NBC and My Network TV affiliate for the greater Savannah and Hilton Head Island area.
The new WSAV Hampton Lake Lowcountry Bureau "is ideal for our goal to provide even more comprehensive service to the South Carolina
Lowcountry," said WSAV Director of Digital Journalism Kevin Brennan.
In 2009, WSAV introduced My Lowcountry 3, an hourlong newscast airing at 7 p.m. weeknights on MyTV 3.2. Segments for both WSAV News 3 and My Lowcountry 3 broadcasts will originate from the Hampton Lake location.
"I think WSAV has been doing a great job representing news here in the Lowcountry and I am extremely pleased to have WSAV share our  facilities for their new expansion initiative," said Gerrit Albert, president of Hampton Lake.
WSAV is owned by Media General Broadcast Group.

The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold a networking event at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express, 35 Bluffton Road.
Jill Weaver, a professional organizer, will speak on successful goal setting in the new year.
The event is free and open to the public.
