A program about industrial-organizational psychology will be presented March 29 during the American Society for Training and Development's lunch and learn meeting at McGuire's Irish Pub.

Four industrial-organizational psychology experts from the University of West Florida will explain how the field can benefit an organization. Industrial-organizational psychologists work to improve an organization's performance and the well-being of its employees. Psychologists research and identify how behaviors and attitudes can be improved through hiring practices, training programs and feedback systems.

The program will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The program is free for ASTD members, and $10 for guests.
